I’m a journalist, writer and performer who is taking a year’s sabbatical from normal life, to get over… normal life.

I’ve taught and won prizes for my photography, have written more stuff than I care to remember, recovered from PTSD from the Asian tsunami, had aggressive breast cancer and what was probably dengue fever, still have fibromyalgia, was a mod on the first online photo sharing site, had a blog with 185,000 followers, project managed multi-million pound tech projects, was a  bodybuilding champion, consulted on risk management before it  was a thing, have learned lots of dances and have visited over 100 countries on other peoples’ money, cycling and sampling wines along the way.

I often did these at the same time. ADHD innit!
